The water project is done.  Almost.  Water from the cistern is now pumped by our two new three horsepower water pumps that are connected to the new system. 

 

 

December is gone and our water purification and distribution project continues.

In January the new emergency generator arrived along with the pumps and the filtering

system.  The pumps, filters and ultraviolet treatment equipment has arrived and is installed.

Still to arrive is the reverse osmosis equipment that will remove unwanted impurities from our well water before the water is stored in the cistern.  Internal electrical work to wire the new pump house and connect the new generator automatically during a power failure is progressing.  The external of the new pump house is complete with window shutters and a security gate installed.  Dirt has been put back against the foundation.  It matches our homes

nicely.

 

Still to be done is the electrical work supplying the electricity to the building and to the well

pumps.  Connection to the homes will be the last thing done.
