New RO Plant

Water flows through a 20 micron filter and then a 5 micron filter before it passes over an ultraviolet light and is on its way to our homes. We have never filtered or ultraviolet treated our water before so this treatment is new for us. Our homes are now receiving water through the new pipe distribution system and the meters that have been installed outside our homes. There shouldn't be any more interruptions to our water service.
What's not done? Although it is installed, the Reverse Osmosis plant is not yet operating. It is installed and ready, but we can't operate it until we have EPA approval for our discharge of waste water back to the ground. We have to do some testing to get the numbers that they require so we can get a permit and then plug the unit in. We hope within six months soon come approval. Final electrical work needs to be finished with installation of the emergency generator at the new well to bring the new well on line and ensure that we will have water supplied to the R/O plant during electrical or other emergencies from both of our wells.
So we are almost there. We have a state of the art water supply/treatment/distribution system that any condo association would be proud to have.
